Terms and Conditions of Sale (RuthAkumbu Global LLC)

1) Scope and acceptance

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through our websites, checkout pages, and payment links operated by RuthAkumbu Global LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”).
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms without limitation.

“Customer” means any individual or entity purchasing a product or service from us through our payment platform, invoice, or other approved payment method.

2) Eligibility and age requirements

You must be able to enter a legally binding contract to purchase from us.
Age restrictions apply:

Digital products and physical products: minimum age 16 (or the legal age in your location if higher)
Services (coaching, consulting, workshops, seminars, events): minimum age 18

If we learn that a purchase was made by someone who does not meet these requirements, we may cancel the order and refund the payment. If physical items were delivered, we may require return of the items as a condition of refund.

3) Products and services

We offer one or more of the following:

Digital products (courses, downloads, templates, toolkits, videos)
Services (coaching, consulting, workshops, speaking, training)
Physical goods (books or other shipped items), if applicable

Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to present accurate information, but minor errors may occur.

4) Orders

An order is considered confirmed when payment is successfully processed, and you receive an order confirmation (on-screen and/or by email).
We may refuse, cancel, or limit an order in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or pricing or listing errors.

5) Pricing, currency, and taxes

Prices are shown in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change at any time. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time you place your order.

Sales tax (if applicable) may be added at checkout depending on your location and the type of product or service.

Shipping and handling fees (if applicable) are shown during checkout before payment is finalized.

6) Payment and payment security

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase unless a payment plan is explicitly offered and selected at checkout.

We accept payment methods made available through our payment processor(s), including Stripe. Payment information is encrypted and processed by the payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details.

If a payment is reversed, charged back, disputed, or fails after access has been granted, we may suspend or revoke access until the balance is resolved.

7) Delivery and access

Digital products: Access is typically delivered immediately after purchase via email and/or an online portal.
Services: Scheduling details will be provided after purchase (or at checkout, if applicable).
Physical items (if applicable): Orders ship to the address provided by the Customer. Please verify spelling and postal code carefully.

8) Shipping and risk of loss (physical goods only)

Shipping timelines are estimates. Risk of loss transfers to the Customer when the shipment is handed to the carrier, unless local law states otherwise.

If a package is lost in transit, contact us at info@ruthakumbu.com within 30 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and may offer a replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

9) Returns, refunds, and cancellations

Because products and services vary, refund rules differ by category. The refund policy displayed at checkout and/or on the product page is incorporated into these Terms.

9.1 Digital products (downloads, templates, self-paced courses)
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, all digital product sales are final once access has been delivered, due to the nature of instant delivery.

9.2 Live trainings, workshops, and events (virtual or in-person)
Refund or transfer rules (if any) will be shown at checkout or in the event details. If not stated, purchases are non-refundable.

9.3 Coaching and consulting services
If you purchase a package or session, cancellation and rescheduling rules will be provided at checkout or by email. If not stated:

Sessions must be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice
Missed sessions may be forfeited
Packages are non-refundable once the first session has occurred

9.4 Physical items (if applicable)
Return rules (including return window and condition requirements) will be listed on our return policy page or provided at checkout.

10) Chargebacks and disputes

If you have an issue, contact us first at info@ruthakumbu.com so we can help.
Initiating a chargeback while also using or accessing a digital product or service may result in immediate suspension of access. We reserve the right to provide order confirmations, access logs, and communications to the payment processor to respond to disputes.

11) Intellectual property and permitted use

All content you purchase or access through us is protected by intellectual property laws.
You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use purchased digital products for your own use only, unless a separate written license grants broader rights.

You may not copy, share, resell, distribute, or publicly post our digital products, recordings, or materials without written permission.

12) Customer responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate contact and payment information and to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials (if applicable). You are responsible for all activity under your account.

13) Disclaimer (education and results)

Our products and services may include education, coaching, and training. You understand that:

Results vary by person and depend on many factors beyond our control.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes, financial results, or business performance.
Nothing provided is legal, financial, medical, or tax advice unless explicitly stated in writing.

14) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RuthAkumbu Global LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data.

Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15) Privacy and communications

We collect and use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy available on www.ruthakumbu.com.

By providing your email address, you agree that we may send order-related messages and service communications. Marketing emails are optional, and you can unsubscribe using the link in the email.

16) Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17) Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase unless the law requires otherwise.
